Ministry of Mines and Energy approved guidelines for the realization of the Auction for the Contracting of thermoelectric generation projects called “Reserve Capacity Auction, of 2021”.

The new Gas Regulatory Framework was sanctioned. The law introduced new measures related to the transport of natural gas and activities for the disposal, treatment, processing, storage, liquefaction, gasification and commercialization of gas. It does not have strategies to reduce pollution or to benefit the environment.
